KAMPUNG

Terms of service

Last updated 23 August 2026

These terms cover playing KAMPUNG at https://kampung.cyberjaya.pro. Holding an account means accepting them.

What this is

A free browser-based strategy game, in active development, provided as it is. There is nothing to buy: no purchases, no subscriptions, no currency. Nothing in the game has value outside it, and nothing in it is bought or sold for money.

Worlds end on purpose

A round of KAMPUNG is finite. When a world is decided it is archived and then swept away — every village, army, clan, market offer and letter is deleted, and everyone begins again from a single village on a fresh archipelago. What you carry forward is a record of what you did, which affects nothing in the next world. Because the game is still being built, worlds may also be reset, rules may change, and progress may be lost outside the ordinary round cycle.

Your account

  • Give a working email address and keep your password to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share it, and do not sign in to somebody else's.
  • Do not impersonate another player or the operators. Display names that only differ by punctuation or capitalisation from an existing one are refused for this reason.

Playing fairly

  • No external automation. Do not use scripts, bots or tools that play for you or talk to the API on your behalf. The Steward, inside the game, is the supported way to have your village act while you are away.
  • Do not exploit faults. If you find a way to get resources, troops or advantage the rules did not intend, report it rather than using it. Gains made through a fault may be reversed.
  • Do not attack the service. No attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the servers, and no circumventing rate limits.
  • Letters are for playing the game. Attacking somebody in a war is the game; harassing them is not. Do not send abuse, threats, hateful content, sexual content involving minors, spam or advertising. Anyone can refuse your letters, and that refusal is enforced by the server and survives a new round.

Names other people read

Your display name, your villages, your clan and its tag and your champion are read by everybody else — on the map, on the leaderboards, in battle reports and beside every letter you send. Nobody can choose not to see them, which is why they are held to a rule that letters and chat are not.

None of them may contain sexual, obscene, hateful or abusive words, in any language, or anything designed to read as one while spelled around a filter. Names are checked when you set them and an unacceptable one is simply refused.

A name already in use that breaks this may be changed to an ordinary one without notice. That is a change of name and nothing else: the account, its villages and everything in them carry on untouched, and the name you sign in with is not affected. Doing it repeatedly is a matter for the section below.

Enforcement

Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or removed, with or without warning depending on what happened. Administrators can see game data, including letters, when investigating a report.

No warranty

The game is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of faults, and with no liability for lost progress, lost time or lost villages. It may be changed, suspended or shut down at any time. If it is shut down, reasonable notice will be given where that is possible.

Content you write

Village names, clan names, letters and chat remain yours. By writing them here you allow them to be stored and shown to the players they are addressed to, for as long as the game needs to do that.
